Famous Hollywood actresses are the most elite in the world. These actresses often perform in the highest grossing movies, but they also do not limit themselves to high budget films. Famous actresses are typically within a certain group, and are known around the world.
Some of the most famous actresses aren’t the best of course; in fact, some of the most famous Hollywood actresses around the world have poor acting skill and rarely do well in movies. High grossing actresses like Sigourney Weaver and Meryl Streep are known for their astounding roles in movies. Sigourney Weaver just received major reviews for her role in Avatar, and continues to impress fans around the world with her superior acting.
For some fame isn’t everything. Being a well known actress doesn’t automatically entitle you to happiness or the best movie roles. Some actresses are thrown out due to their addictions and substance abuse problems. Fame can turn ugly quickly, especially for young Hollywood stars like Lindsay Lohan. Following the wrong crowd or getting caught up in the fortune can lead to the end of their acting career.
In the past few years new actresses have been on the scene. They are the ones that have played in the newest movies with the hottest roles. Kirsten Stewart, who plays Bella in the Twilight films, is a favorite amongst teenagers around the world. She will also be starring in the Runaways and upcoming films of 2010. While Emma Watson played one of the most important roles in the Harry Potter films, she doesn’t act as often as other famous actresses do.
Child actresses such as Abigail Breslin and Dakota Fanning continue to wow audiences with their astounding roles. These two actresses were known for profound roles, but as they get older their roles get darker and more grown up. In the future these two will likely continue to amaze viewers with more intense acting. Important roles Abigail Breslin fulfilled includes Little Miss Sunshine, and Zombieland. Dakota Fanning has made a spot for the Twilight Saga, and will also perform in The Runaways.
Generally speaking, famous actresses are divided into two main groups. There are the older actresses that have starred in some of the most well known roles around the world. The other actresses are younger, and stylish, but equally as famous. It doesn’t make them any less of a good actress just because they are younger, but it does restrict the roles they may play.

Sometimes famous actresses receive bad media for things that go on in their personal life. They are just as real as the rest of us, and also have feelings. The only difference is that they have worked hard for the roles they play, and they earn more money.
