The health industry has been active in rumors of how ionized water has become the next health fad. But consumers who are now finding out about the new fad aren’t exactly chemists themselves- so who should they trust? The science behind water ionization is actually easy to pick up if you keep an open mind.
Ionized water is defined as water that contains electrically-charged atoms known as ions. Ions are used to either make the water acidic or alkaline. Both of these terms are used to describe the acidic level of the water, whereas alkaline water is devoid of acid. One of the goals is to remove acidic solution from the water passed through the filter, so you can treat your body to healthier water.
We drink water to stay hydrated, but the water we drink isn’t always healthy. Acidic buildup in our bodies can be come dangerous if left alone and drinking habits aren’t rediscovered. The alkaline water obtained through water ionization can help flush the body of the harmful acid and toxins that tend to build up over time.
Health fanatics are well aware that antioxidants are required to get rid of harmful substances in our bodies. Antioxidants are found through many sources such as pomegrantes and other fruits, but also through ionized water. The excess of electrons in ionized water allows it to act as an antioxidant to the body, and for a much cheaper price than buying fruit instead.
Electrolysis is the process we use to create ionized water. The process will break down the large particles of water into tinier more managed forms. You may not notice it since this is done on the molecular level, but experts say this gains several different advantages. One good example is the fact that the water is more dense, meaning you would need less water to become hydrated as you would normally have to consume.
The process of creating ionized water has been perfected, but the science behind it has not just yet. There are many claims of benefit that ionized water was attested to, but some argue that the sciences behind water ionization have yet to be confirmed. As more studies are conducted in the meantime, it’s helpful to read other stories of how water ionization has helped out the lives of thousands all over the world since its debut.
In Conclusion
Machines that control water ionization are complex, and won’t exactly be something you can go to a simple convenience store and buy. The best method of obtaining a water ionization machine is to go online and find a health retailer that is hip on current trends in health innovations.

It’s not a matter of the “science not being confirmed” but a matter of scientific evidence not being proven here in the U.S.A. Hundreds of studies have been done in Japan and other Asian countries and we are currently trying to raise money to have these same studies done here in the U.S.A.
